On Friday 3rd March we celebrated world book day. It was wonderful to see so many of our students dressed up as their favourite book characters from Harry Potter to Little Miss Sunshine! We invited parents and carers from all phases to visit our newly refurbished library giving families the opportunity to spend time reading with their children and exploring the fantastic range of books which our main school library has to offer. The Phase 3 and 4 event was particularly successful and it was a real pleasure to see how much the students enjoyed it. In addition to these celebrations, we also asked parents and staff for donations of ‘pre-loved’ children’s books that they no longer wanted as this term we will be holding a ‘book swap’ event to enable all children to have the opportunity to have books to read at home. We wish to thank you for your kind donations and support with this.
