Milestone Academy staff and students were pleased to welcome a visit from four Sevenoaks District Councillors: Councillor Roddy Hogarth, Councillor Laura Manston, Councillor Shani Manamperi, and Councillor Mark Lindop. Our special visitors were joined by JD O’Brien, one of our community enterprise links, who has led a project to make New Ash Green a more bee-friendly place! This was an idea that came from Viking Class students last year, and which was in response to Councillor Hogarth’s Public Realm competition.
If all goes well, we will be clearing and planting the roundabout and the “triangle” at our main entrance will take place in the autumn!
