On 11th of November 2025, our Milestone@SGLA students attended the Remembrance Service at Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy, to which we had been kindly invited. It was a meaningful opportunity to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict. Two of our Milestone students proudly joined Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy in laying the wreath during the ceremony. Our students were very respectful throughout the service, showing great maturity and empathy during this important occasion. As an IB school, we demonstrated our international mindedness by reflecting on the importance of peace, respect, and unity across all nations, recognising that remembrance is a shared value that connects communities around the world.
