Future Stars of the Pitch: Girls’ Rugby Skills Festival

On Friday 5th December, students from Milestone at Leigh Academy Dartford attended a Girls Rugby Skills Festival hosted by Gravesham and Dartford School Games.

The event, focused on promoting girls’ participation in rugby, allowed our young people to explore a carousel of activities designed to develop fundamental rugby skills. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to step outside the classroom and get active, whilst learning something new.

The positive attitude displayed by our young team was nothing short of amazing. Not only did the girls demonstrate excellent listening skills, but they also approached every challenge with incredible determination. Their enthusiasm was contagious, with all students representing the school with pride and resilience.

Well done to all of the girls involved—we are so proud of everything you have achieved.
