Youth Coping with Challenges Workshop – M@SGLA

An overhead view of a group of four students (two boys and two girls) gathered around a table, actively engaged in building with colorful plastic bricks (similar to LEGO). They are focused on the small structures they are creating on an orange baseplate, surrounded by loose bricks, paper, and pencils. One student's hand is visible in the foreground.

M@SGLA students recently participated in the ‘Youth Coping with Challenges’ Workshop, delivered by the British Red Cross, and what an incredibly valuable experience it proved to be. The session was highly engaging, with practical activities and team-based challenges that encouraged students to actively develop skills in resilience, staying calm, feeling safe, and supporting each other. Our young people were fully involved throughout, showing great enthusiasm and commitment as they allowed their curiosity to lead them. This interactive and meaningful workshop equipped them with essential tools they can apply both in school and in their everyday lives. It was a truly enriching experience for all involved.

A close-up shot of a large screen displaying a presentation slide with the title "Reflections" in the top right corner. The slide contains four questions related to challenges and resilience: "What is a challenge?", "What is resilience?", "What are the four pillars?", and "How can they help us be more resilient?". The left side of the screen features a graphic of stacked, colorful square shapes (green, yellow/orange, blue, and red).

A medium shot of three students (two boys and one girl) sitting side-by-side at a wooden table, also building with colorful plastic bricks. They are concentrated on manipulating the bricks scattered on the table in front of them, each working on their own or a shared small construction.
