Howzat! Milestone students shine at Inclusive Cricket Festival

On Wednesday 14th January 2026 a group of enthusiastic students from Milestone @ SGLA travelled to Strood to take part in an Inclusive Cricket event, hosted by Active Kent and Medway. Our students had the opportunity to participate in a circuit of engaging activities which  focused on a range of cricket skills such as catching, throwing, movement, communication and hand-eye co-ordination. All of our students took pride in representing Milestone and were a real credit to the academy in all their efforts and conduct. It was a fantastic event, with all our students heading home with a big smile on their faces. A huge well done to all those involved!

Two children wearing blindfolds navigate an obstacle course in a gymnasium. They are stepping over small red hurdles on a blue floor while other children and sports equipment, like cricket stumps and cones, are visible in the background.
