Milestone Students Tackle a Rugby Skills Festival!

Students from Nova class at Milestone@LAD recently participated in an action-packed Rugby Skills Festival held at the Old Gravesendians Rugby Club; and the day was a resounding success!

The festival was structured as a high-energy carousel of activities, which developed coordination, agility and teamwork. The fast-paced, interactive nature of the carousel ensured that students remained engaged and constantly challenged throughout the morning.

The culmination of the festival was an exhilarating game of tag rugby against another local school. This final activity allowed our students to immediately apply the new skills they had spent the day learning. During this match, they truly shone, demonstrating remarkable patience and unwavering determination to succeed. Crucially, they took the challenge of learning and executing new skills all in their stride, adapting quickly to the demands of the game.

Beyond the technical skills displayed, what truly distinguished our students was their exemplary attitude. Our young people consistently went above and beyond their comfort zones. The staff members accompanying the students were deeply impressed by the genuine resilience shown throughout the day.

A heartfelt and huge well done to all the Nova class students who participated.
