Milestone@SGLA Sports Day a triumph!

We had a fantastic Sports Day on Monday 16th June! It was a truly inclusive event that brought our whole school community together in celebration of teamwork, effort, and personal growth.

The event also offered a wonderful opportunity for our students to embody and demonstrate key attributes from the IB Learner Profile, which is at the heart of our school’s ethos. The IB Learner Profile encourages students to become well-rounded individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also caring, principled, open-minded, and reflective.

Throughout the day, our students showed what it means to be:

  • Balanced – managing their physical, emotional, and social well-being as they tackled different challenges on the field.
  • Risk-takers – stepping outside their comfort zones to try new activities and give their best effort, win or lose.
  • Communicators – working together as teams, cheering each other on, and showing sportsmanship.

It was truly inspiring to see every student participating with enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit. They gave it their all and performed exceptionally well across a variety of events.

A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who came along to support and cheer – your presence made the day even more special and memorable for everyone involved.
