Milestone Academy were pleased to welcome Samesky, an award winning art company, and participate in their lantern making workshop for pupils in Phase 3 at the main site. Pupils were invited to make their own lanterns from scratch, using a variety of art materials. At the end of the day, pupils and staff paraded the lanterns lit with colourful fairy lights around the department.
The main event in Dartford was generously supported by pupils, families and staff who joined the parade through the high street, accompanied by various musical bands and acts, concluding in the park with a fabulous firework display.
