Last week, students from Milestone@SirGeoffreyLeighAcademy travelled to Sittingbourne to take part in a judo event at Meadowfield School. Our students joined an excellent session, delivered by two qualified coaches Eddie and Caz, who both represent Great Britain in Judo. All our students embraced the opportunity to learn from these experts, thoroughly enjoying the new experience and developing new skills, following the demonstrations and movements.
It was a great event, organised in collaboration with Active Kent and Medway. Our students were challenged and supported to maximise their participation and get as much from the experience as possible. There were some brilliant displays of listening, observing and a willingness to try something new. Well done to all involved.
