Last week, our Phase 3 students took part in the KSENT Games at Medway Park in Gillingham, representing Milestone with enthusiasm.
It was a great opportunity for our students to experience a festival of different inclusive sports, organised by Kent School Games and the KSENT special school network.
188 young people from more than 19 different SEN schools across the county took part in the large-scale event.
Milestone students, led by a fantastic team of specialist trainers and coaches (experts in their respective sports discipline), enjoyed taking part in judo, wheelchair basketball, adapted tennis, table top cricket and boxing. Our students’ efforts were a joy to observe as they showed dedication through every event.
It was a brilliant day and a thoroughly enjoyable inclusive event, tailored perfectly to the needs of the different groups taking part. We thank the organisers for giving us the opportunity to experience a marvellous day of sports.
