Following extensive research and development work, Leigh Academy Milestone is thrilled to announce the opening of its Immersive Room.
This high-tech space allows students to “immerse” themselves in visual sensory experiences, and new, unfamiliar environments.
It is the perfect space to help their students explore the world and its wonders from within the safety of the school. The academy was honoured to have families join them for the launch, to experience the room with their young people, and to give us ideas about how to take the space forward.
As you can see from the photos and video, this space is already sparking real joy and creating valuable opportunities for meaningful communication.
