If you have visited the TRAC in recent weeks you will no doubt have noticed that the entrance is looking rather more colourful! Viking class have been working hard, using the planting skills they have learnt, to give the TRAC’s exterior a new and improved look. Working together, they have planted a selection of alpine plants in the three window troughs, following a pattern to give coherence to the space. The students decided between themselves on a repeating pink and white theme. Once they were happy with their arrangement and had planted the flowers, they applied a coating of gravel to maintain moisture and give a professional finish. I think you’ll agree that they have done a marvellous job!
