On Friday 15th November 2024 Leigh Academy Milestone raised money for Children in Need by having a non-uniform day. Around the school and across all sites, classes took part in a range of fun activities alongside their usual lessons. Some children completed Pudsey artwork, while elsewhere classes listened to stories about how the money raised is used to help other children. There was certainly a buzz in the air and plenty of fun had by all!
Classes participated in assemblies and lessons about Children in Need charity work and the impact it has for families and communities. Other activities included creating Pudsey bear-themed toast, pictures and posters to raise awareness. While some classes showed off their moves in sponsored dance-a-thons! It was a great day and the Milestone community raised £298.50 for Children in Need.
